as well as moderate Republicans and Independents just in time for 2006.
I expect a huge 2006 turnout no matter how this nom. turns out.

If we haven't had enough to activate us already, then I think we're screwed.

How many times have we heard "Well, this is going to activate our base."

OVER and OVER.

I'd say that there have been enough scandals, lies, stolen elections, etc to activate our base.

Pretty big issue and things like lies and stolen election can be spun in many people's minds as politics/business as usual.
