However, when Clinton and Gore were subpoenaed, they took them like every other American would have to do. If we had majority rule we could tell them that the articles of impeachment had already started on Bush/Cheney, Inc.
I really think they need to go after Cheney more than Bush.
If there had not been a war, all those no-bid contracts that Cheney got for Halliburton in the 90's when he was not in public service, would never have gone up. He purchased 400,000 stocks in the 90's. Then Bush had asked Cheney to help him find a running mate from the advice of his father. Cheney supposedly comes back and claims he cannot find anyone that would make a better VP then him. Bush keeps Cheney.
Bush has had a hard on for Saddam since he tried to assassinate his daddy, plus to add insult to injury, Saddam had tiles that made out the face of Bush 41 in front of some mosques or something, cannot remember it all, and he did that so the Iraqi people could walk all over poppy Bush's face all the time. That is a major insult in that culture. Also, Cheney wanted a war for all of those no-bid contracts. If there wasn't a war, then no one would be getting richer.
I think that backward way Cheney went about getting richer while he is a public servant should be a conflict of interest. However, how could one write a law to prevent something like this?
I've got to find something else that interests me besides politics. This stuff is going to drive me wacko!
