I dreamt I was appointed SC Justice last night.....
I was hanging out with Clarence Thomas of all things, which is fitting I guess, since I'm wasn't qualified to be on the SC either. I mean, I'm not even going into law, WTF? But, Clarence is explaining all this stuff to me and I'm thinking:"Maybe I should just ask Scalia his opinion first, because that's where Clarence is getting all this shit from." Then John Roberts convinced me to vote on the Republican side for my first vote. OMG, I actually was thinking in my dream that DUers were going to go ballistic on me. I was so ashamed that I voted with Roberts, Scalia, Thomas and Kennedy for my first vote that I've been pissed off at myself all day. I keep thinking, "gosh, it was just a dream, don't be so hard on yourself." But, fuck, if I can't trust myself not to vote Republican then who the hell can I trust.

I didn't go duck hunting with Cheney though.

It does disturb me that my best friend on the court was Clarence Thomas. Why, I just don't know.

1. Freud would blame your mother.
Seriously, I'm sure there are a few things a liberal wouldn't be lambasted for voting with conservatives on.

For example, "Puppies are cute: yes or no".

3. yes, I recall Souter, Ginsberg, Jones and Breyer all hated puppies
that was it. :)

Or, maybe they all just wanted to outlaw the bible and require that every family should house a same-sex couple.... hmmmmm......

:)

2. Isn't it "I dreamt I went to the Supreme Court in my Maidenform
bra?" You need to be of a certain age to remember those ads.
