"Diplomat" Karen Hughes Is A Train Wreck
I read today that Karen Hugues, speaking to college students at an "elite" university in Jakarta, made us proud with the following statement:

"My state of Texas is very big. So you can imagine my surprise to learn that your country, Indonesia, is three times bigger than my big state of Texas."

The "listening tour" she just completed was a total disaster, and this current effort to improve the U.S. image in the Muslim world appears to be rocketing out of the starting blocks. The cronyism is now getting to the level of absurd.

1. "And, my ass is twice as big as your country. Alas, my brain is
very, very small..." Train wreck indeed!

5. It makes no sense because Karen Hughes traveled extensively
Her resume of foreign travel is pretty impressive. So acting like a Gomer is just not jiving with her level of experience.

13. She may have traveled, but
how much of it was as part of the P's entourage. Jumping over to Moscow and staying in diplomat quarters for two or three days, attending highly orchestrated social functions is not traveling in my book.

6. The first time I saw her was when she was gloating over stealing 2000.
My immediate thought was, "This is the most abrasive, annoying person I've ever seen. She couldn't sell ice cubes in Hell." When I heard she was being made a "diplomat" to sell Bush's Crusade to Muslims, my head exploded.

17. Me too.
I literally want to slap her ugly face everytime she opens her filthy cakehole on tv.

Just the thought of that piece of excrement, with her enormous Texas sized feet, gallumping all over the word, pretending to speak for ME...well...it is just too much to bear.

Sorry for the rant...but that disgusting liar really gets me angry.

says: "One Nation, Under God" and mistake that for the Pledge of Aligience?

She's just another cluster under the bush....IMO.

8. link here...
precious...

"Apparently Hughes thought promoting Bush's agenda would pass undetected among Muslims, so long as she presented herself as receptive and respectful. But when you're a mouthpiece it's hard to hide the fact.

The role constricts; it alters inner feelings and outward demeanor. The heart is not open (though constantly strives to give the impression it is); the mind is self-conscious, always returning to the agenda, which is invariably different than how it's officially billed.

In a word, the business is insincere. And during her tour, Hughes struggled in vain not to appear so, often ingratiating herself in the process. In Malaysia, for instance, she said it had been "thrilling" to hear the Muslim call to prayer."

10. Why does he send the most colossal idiots
to the most politically sensitive areas? We don't need someone as culturally inappropriate as K*ren in Indonesia, of all places. I hope Harry and the others confront him on that crap as part of the checks and balances.

11. someone should tell her Texas is NOT a country..........
.......so it is not unreasonable to expect that a country would be larger than the state of Texas!!

I know Texans think they have a big state but seriously some things are bigger. And bigger is not always better..........

Send her back to Texas so she can be with her own kind once again......

14. Let me get this straight
We send this brain dead bimbo to Muslim countries where she proceeds to insult their intelligence by talking to college students like they are first graders. Then we have the balls to say that "they hate us for our freedoms". Jeezus effing christ! Maybe they just hate us because we are so fucking condescending.

19. Or maybe roller derby? I am sorry to say this. It may make me sound
intolerant, but whenever I see her, I can't help but suspect that she was once a man who went through a sex change. I support transsexuals who are that honest and courageous to face what they realize must be faced, and to do something about it now that there's an option for them. But she just repulses me.

I see her who as a potential Female to Male who could never
bring herself to do the change. Transsexual women are usually
more feminine than Natal women.

Bush didn't nominate her for the SC.

My guess is the only reason she wasn't was because she has no law experience.

24. Well, I can say one thing for this administration....
They unerringly place the least qualified person on the job. I can think of very few women less suited to try to improve America's image on a so-called "listening tour" than Karen Huge (thanks to Bob Boudelang). She did not go to listen, she went to lecture.

Not only did she speak condescendingly to citizens in every country she toured, but she also spoke erronously..."One nation, under God," as part of our Constitution, for example.

So after invading a muslim country, el idiot sends the unappealing Ms. Hugues to be both incorrect and insulting, and the administration thinks this is supposed to somehow sway opinions? What a complete disaster this whole Chimp fiasco has been. It is beyond humiliating to think that he represents America to the rest of the world.
