over at
http://www.OhioHonestElections.orgthere is a picture of Paul Hackett taking off his shirt to reveal a DFA T-shirt underneath. The picture was taken at a RON rally sponsored by the DFA.
Meanwhile the Columbus Dispatch, as has been noted in other diaries has a poll which spells doom for the most important of the RON reforms. The Dispatch poll is usually very accurate as a predictor of election results.
Of course the Ohio Democratic Party, applauded by its enablers, refused to take a position on RON because it says it did not want to turn RON into a partisan issue. A brilliant strategy (snark). As I wrote in another diary "The ODP is worse than useless. It is complicit with the Republicans in the corruption in the state. New leadership at ODP is needed desperately. This is what those outside of Ohio do not understand, how throughly corrupt and useless and ineffective, purposefully, I think, the Ohio Democratic Party is. Nothing surprises. Over at Grow Ohio (Sherrod Brown's stealth campaign site) the praise for inaction is heard. Oh how brilliant the Dems are not to make RON a partisan issue. Oh how brilliant the Dems are not to take a position but rather to stand aside lest by doing something they risk being perceived as being alive. Of course this was the rationale DCCC employed for not giving money initially to Paul Hackett -- they did not want to risk waking up the mighty Republican Party -- Forget the fact that Carville, and Wes Clark were campaigning for Hackett.
Ohio needs help. Dean and the grassroots have to throw out the entire rotten staff and apparatus and leadership of ODP and replace it with real leaders. Real leaders -- that is what ODP and national Dems fear the most. It is the reason they tried to snuff out the Hackett candidacy."
