Repugs cant answer this question...
Why, if the intelligence wasnt being fixed, won't you have an investigation on why such bad intelligence led us to war? If you didnt lie, wouldnt you want to know why every shred of evidence that you used was debunked and ripped to shreds? Wouldnt this save your party from any coming embarrasment? Unless, of course, you lied.

1. It's not just the party. Isn't it a matter of saving American lives?
I mean, if that was supposedly "darn good intelligence" but it turned out to all be wrong, aren't we in danger of having MORE wrong intelligence? I mean, the old stuff was wrong and we don't even know why. How do we know our new intelligence is right? Surely those uber-patriod conservatives would want to get to the bottom of this right away.

If, as you say, it was just faulty intelligence. /snort

2. absolutely!
Because if you really support the troops, you want to make double sure that the next time they are called to fight, they are called to fight a war that is really necessary, based on good intelligence.

Of course, I don't think Repukes support the troops any more than they really think that we were dragged into war based on bad intelligence.

4. I can't see that
Intelligence can be used to take a nation to war. To keep you out of a war, yes......but calling on intelligence to make the clear-cut case for war is a matter of asking it to do what it fundamentally is unable to do........IMHO.
