88% in for Kaine and a 5% margin. It's a blowout!

Hey, if Bush had a mandate, then this must be a super-mandate.

2. Corzine seems to be holding at...
An approx. 10% margin. Hell, I would take one vote more than Forrester.

3. Zynx, thanks for that update on Chesterfield
Edited on Tue Nov-08-05 09:33 PM by Awsi Dooger
In the original Virginia results thread. When you reported those numbers and the relationship to 2001 I felt very confident. It was the first bit of meaningful news, not just random numbers.

6. Hey. I am a political junkie. I know where to look.
Chesterfield is the key indicator of how well a Republican will do in Virginia and when I saw Kilgore was barely winning it, I knew he was in trouble.

10. Thanks, I'll mark that down for future reference
I keep a list of bellwether counties but they're almost all the 50/50 type.

11. Also, Kaine had a ridiculous lead in Fairfax. No Dem for any office has
carried it by that margin in modern history.

7. The attorney general race is in play
Down to a 13,000 vote margin. Perhaps even lieutenant gov, although that's 34,000. Still more than 10% of precincts to be counted

Hey, I want every office I can get. This is a potentially pivotal state in 2008 so who knows what role an attorney general might play?

8. I'm so thrilled about this. Another 4 yrs with the governorship
in what traditionally is a Republican state.
