How do we best capitalize on tonight's election results going into 06?
2 new Democratic governors, and Arnie's about to get knocked down in California.

How does this change America's perception of Democrats? For too long we've been portrayed as losers by the media. Will that change? Whether the media changes or not, what can we do to best capitalize on these victories as we move forward?

I have a lot of ideas, but I'm sure others do as well so I welcome all thoughtful and constructive posts...

1. don't put any more 2008 presidential election shit up
I'm sick of those,
one day at a time
and one year at time
and one election at a time.

4. 2006 impeachment any thing else is bullshit
they still hold the house and senate and any talk on
who is the best in 2008 is either they don't get it
or a high-jacker.

sorry folks if I offended
but that's the truth

2. BRAG, BRAG & BRAG!!!
No, that's not a new law firm -- it's what the Dems should be doing over the next few weeks. Keep pointing to the fact that 'the people have spoken' resoundingly in these races, showing a definite disenchantment with the Reps and their policies.

5. Remember - they are both replacing democratic governors
These were not pickups, these were replacing the outgoing governors. NJ choose not to run for re-election and VA was term limited.

I think what we need to do is analyse all of the results and see where we need to put the most work for the next 2006. Obviously we can win 2 statehouses when one is in a very liberal state (NJ) and the other has a very popular outgoing governor (VA). Now we have to prove we can win across the country

6. The fact that tonight happened means the change already took
place, things changed, tonight was the proof.
