2. I was very excited earlier because my polling place was packed, I have
Edited on Tue Nov-08-05 10:54 PM by OhNoTheyDidNot
since learned that that is most likely because only 50% of the polls are open today because of the special elections status. I still am very confident that the night will turn out good for us and bad for Ahnold. Mike C. Thanks again for clarifying the differences between the two drug props.... I told several people who were also unclear what you posted, and they also voted no on 78 and yes on 79.

PS, they weren't unclear on what you posted lol - they were unclear on the props and I told them what you said and it cleared it up for them.

3. They moved ours. I directed three people to the new place about a dozen
blocks away. When I got there, midday, the parking lot was full. Steady business they were doing, on this little side street off the beaten path. Little old lady in the neighborhood was ADAMANT about going to vote. I offered her a ride by the time I shook loose but she'd already found one. Just sent my husband, so he got in before we all turn into pumpkins out here (or, preferably, arnold does).

They really NEED us Angelenos! But that was at 4:00 though, 4 more hours of open polls. My place had a steady stream of voters!

which is that SD City has 600,000+ registered voters, and the registrar sent out over 400,000 absentee ballots. I knew it was popular, but that surprised me.

26. LA hasn't been counted at all and San Fran is at 2.9%
Compared with 12.1% overall. Don't read too much into this yet.

If California's two largest cities haven't been counted yet, and the numbers are still this close (with two already heading for defeat) then I say, it's a good bet they are all going down.

Parental Notification may squeek by.

We're down 2% and 0.4% respectively.

And still San Fransisco is at 2.9%.

The only one Arnold has a shot at now is the Union Dues.

The unions have nearly bankrupted themselves trying to defeat this prop. I really hope the state of CA comes through for them.
