I worked the polls in Columbus, Ohio. Ask me anything
except exactly what polling station. It is just north of The Ohio State University campus.

1. See anything unusual?
Things look like they were on the up and up.

5. We had 4 machines, up from 3. Only had 250 voters.
There was never more than a 2 person line, and that only a couple of times.

4. Who's dreamier? Tom Cruise or Johnny Depp?
Edited on Tue Nov-08-05 11:54 PM by YOY
My mind says Johnny but my heart says Tom!

Hey, you said "anything". Good work at the polls BTW

6. For "dreamy" roles I would have to say Depp.
Edward scissorhands and Pirates of the Carribean were fairly dream like movies.

7. Is there a local total of vote results before they are sent.
to the central tabulator? Do you know the totals, or does someone tell you what the precinct totals are later?

I can't believe prop 5 got kicked so bad. What were voters thinking about that prop? Did you expect such a butt kicking?

9. I work a Dem area. We passed it 65-35 issues2 thru 5.
We have a paper tally that reads all 3 registers of the magnetic cartridge. We post one copy on the front window of the polling place.

15. There are an equal number of Dems and Reps at every step up.
The elections here are run jointly.

14. Not many yard signs and nobody on the round that I know of.
The vote in our precinct was somewhat surprising at 65/35 for. In the presidential election it was 850 vote Kerry/ 120 Bush. I expected ratios closer to those.

21. Ooooh, you're good.
Now go for the brass ring -- There was a TV show where one character outlined the "brilliant plan" plot device and ended with "Any questions?" and another character asked the Lumpy question.

Give me the name of either the show or the actor who posed the Lumpy question.

I realy tought issue 1 and 2 were locked up. At least issue 1 got the most votes. Of all of them I thought that was a given because they have already passed a similiar bill through both the House and Senate. It is only awaiting Taft's signature.
