Univ. of Virginia Professor says that Bush brought more Dems to polls.
Edited on Wed Nov-09-05 12:35 PM by onehandle
On Al Franken just now a Professor said that there is anecdotal evidence that Bush's campaigning for the GOP candidate for Governor energized the Democratic base and made the defeat an even stronger defeat.

He also said that the GOPer's campaign and Bush's appearance had Rove's fingerprints all over them.

Keep up the good work, boys!

3. That was Larry Sabato. Media 'ho. But he's right. Kilgore's ads also...
turned off people.

On his sports talk show in DC, Tony Kornheiser talked about how much he hated Kilgore's capital punishment ad. I know other folks who didn't have a horse in that race until that ad came on.

Wonder if Larry McCarthy's people did it.

4. those ugly wedge issue ads

just don't work like they used to.

Maybe the Atwater approach is done for, Karl. Maybe the rubes are finally getting tired of the game and too many of the old ones have gone to the graveyard. And you're no good at playing on level ground.
