No, you offered a great entertaining contrast to the gray (literally) Davis. With so many catch phrases from your flicks, and the naked photos in the smokinggun, you provided cheap entertainment for the masses. And this include your groping tales.

But to actually pass laws to change the Kalifornia Konstitution? Get Real.

Please accept the fact that you are just supposed to entertain, not to govern. Really.

Though I still like the idea behind Prop. 77 to take the craziness from the amoeba-shaped districts. Perhaps you can talk to other, more experienced people in Sacramento to get something that can work.

You make good observations. There's one big difference. The Schwartz isn't. Reagan was an excellent communicator. Like him or not, one of Reagan's greatest talents was his ability to communicate when the cameras were on. However, Reagan's message was often hollow. He sounded and looked great, but pull back the curtain and there was nothing there.

And I had tears in my eyes, while at the same time I was telling myself that there were not his words (were Peggy Noonan's of course)

But he also had a great sense of humor. He used to just crack me up sometimes with his jokes and off the cuff remarks. He had great timing, as does any good actor.

But the point is that none of what he said was ever real once the curtain was pulled back... except his sense of humor!
