He dropped that hot potato yesterday afternoon and the whole story disappeared? What became of it?

9. Local NBC affiliate was saying Lott said it came out of a meeting of...

Republican Senators where this was brought up and Cheney was there talking about it but that the WaPo article also mentioned current and former CIA officials on background (not named).

Can't say I'm the least bit surprised. Personally, I think the Dem leadership should make sure all their ducks are in a row, and make their own request for an investigation.

Did Reid ever get a response to his query regarding why the GOP senate leadership was discussing secret CIA prisons with Cheney during their brunch?

7. I hope you mean the secret prison investigation

I agree the Democrats should start screaming for the investigation Frist and Hastert said was vital to national security.

This is the first I've heard about Roberts saying the investigation is off and I've had the TV on all day. It couldn't have happened very long ago. I bet Reid and Pelosi jump all over this.

So, it seems that Anderson Cooper, Boy Wonder Reporter, may not to be reporting all the news....

This was the good kind of leak. The Fascists who run those secret prisons would love to see the leaker punished. I'd like to see him remain in place and leak some more.
