Why are the governors of some of the bluest states in the land
members of the wrong party? Help me out here.

California: Ahnold
New York: Pataki (Oh how I miss Cuomo)
Connecticut: M. Jodi Rell
Massachusetts: Mitt Romney

Even Vermont and Rhode Island have repuke governors (Douglas and Carcieri). Almost the entire Northeast has been infested with a plague of Repukian governorship.

Oh, and isn't there an apt and able Democrat somewhere in NYC, one of the bluest cities in the land, who can give the other party the boot out of the mayor's office?

WTF??

1. aren't they all considered "moderate"
many people like having a repub to RUN the state and DEMS to legislate - that's always been my take.

Balance IS good, but right now we need to tip the scales and clean out the riffraff from the right!

3. In MA there was no decent democrat three years ago :(
But do not despair: Romney is done.
(I believe so is the Gropenfuhrer)

Also, Spitzer has a decent shot in NY....
