Bill O'Reilly Attack San Francisco speech just on KO.
You know I am glad I dont watch the scumbag O'reilly. They Just played what he said about al queda attacking SF on Keith O. I was wondering if the morality censorship police has contacted the FCC and reported him.

2. Well but he did say one thing I agreed with
which was that SF should become it's own country!! I say YES!

Because, if SF were a sovereign nation, it'd no more be a target to terrorists than any other nation they don't have a beef with, right?

Not that O'reilly could ever be accused of using logic or common sense.

22. It was a SF vote against military recruiters - didn't catch the details
Edited on Fri Nov-11-05 09:17 PM by Tom Rinaldo
He was going off saying, "Fine, but no more Federal money for SF then, and don't expect the US to protect you." From there he worked his way into inviting Al Quada to target SF's Coit Tower.

23. Isn't it against the law to say something like that?
Edited on Fri Nov-11-05 09:18 PM by BattyDem
Doesn't the Patriot Act apply?

If Randi Rhodes or Mike Malloy said something that sounded even remotely like an attempt to incite a terrorist attack, they would be yanked off the air and thrown in jail! But O'Reilly says attack SF ... no problem. Ann Coulter often says liberals should be killed and I believe she once said that terrorists should bomb the NY Times building ... no problem. Pat Robertson says Chavez should be assassinated ... no problem. :grr:

:wtf: :wtf: :wtf: :wtf: :wtf:

27. The way he phrased it was barely within the law.
“If Al Qaeda comes in here and blows you up, we’re not going to do anything about it. We’re going to say, look, every other place in America is off limits to you, except San Francisco. You want to blow up the Coit Tower? Go ahead."

If he had said instead that he urges Al Qaeda to immediately attack San Francisco, that would probably be illegal.

18. Check out the coverage at "SpeakSpeak"
http://www.speakspeak.org/speak-blog/2005/11/11/bill-oreilly-ok-for-terrorists-to-blow-up-a-building-in-san-francisco/

San Francisco is discouraging military recruiters from visiting high schools
and colleges.

Personally, I never saw military recruiters at my high school when I was a student (though I got plenty of phone calls from them at home in those days). Therefore, I don’t see anything radical about San Francisco’s policy.

However, Bill O’Reilly said about San Francisco on the November 8 broadcast of his radio show “If Al Qaeda comes in here and blows you up, we’re not going to do anything about it. We’re going to say, look, every other place in America is off limits to you, except San Francisco. You want to blow up the Coit Tower? Go ahead .”

Some of the visitors to Coit Tower in San Francisco are tourists. The local visitors to Coit Tower include both people-who-agree and people-who-disagree with a given policy. None of them should be murdered.

“Media Matters for America” has the audio of Bill O’Reilly.

Note that while the measure doesn’t even ban recruiters from high school and college campuses (it’s advisory), Bill O’Reilly told his radio audience that the initiatiative “would ban military recruiting.”

20. Coughlin was a combination of Rush Limbaugh and Hitler himself
The Great Depression produced some pretty fucked up people in this country. Huey Long, for example, while in rhetoric he seemed like a nice guy, the guy's idea's were impractical and he was spouting a lot of bullshit about Roosevelt. In an any American History textbook, Coughlin and Long are called "the demogogues" for very good reason.

31. Yeah, but he wasn't a perfect character
I don't agree with his policies of wealth resdistribution, and he ran his state party like a dictator. His attacks on FDR were also a load of bullshit. His "Share the Wealth" clubs were also taken over by a friend of his who was a staunch anti-Semite.
