Chimp blames Dems for his troubles!! LOL!!!
WASHINGTON (AP) -

President Bush seems to be turning the clock back to Election Day 2004, parrying with ex-rival John Kerry and harshly questioning his critics' commitment to U.S. troops.

You can't blame him for being nostalgic for better political times, when most Americans felt he was a strong, honest leader and gave him the benefit of the doubt on Iraq.

That's certainly not the sentiment these days. With his approval ratings plunging, even some Republican leaders are showing signs of abandoning Bush's listing ship.

snip...

Speaking in Tobyhanna, Pa., Bush accused Democratic critics of hypocrisy because many voted for the war based on the intelligence that they are now questioning. Then he dusted off a strategy from 2004 - unleashing a carefully worded attack that stops just shy of questioning his critics' patriotism.

"These baseless attacks send the wrong signal to our troops and to an enemy that is questioning America's will," he said. "As our troops fight a ruthless enemy determined to destroy our way of life, they deserve to know that their elected leaders who voted to send them to war continue to stand behind them."

1. Another favorite.
"The stakes in the global war on terror are too high, and the national interest is too important, for politicians to throw out false charges."

Like saying that unless people vote for him, we could be "hit again?"
Like saying his opponent never earned his medals?
Like saying Democrats would fight with spitballs?

They are the party of false charges, and that's a big part of how they got where they are.

10. We should send the asshole a mirror with a note that reads...
"Hey fuckface, the root of all your problems lies in the reflection you see. Now go get drunk and fall down, snort lines of coke, kick your dog, or whatever it is you do when you can't handle the reality you got yourself into."

..Is not Bush's line.
He doesn't have enough intelligence to write "I Good..You Bad!"

4. bush wasn't disclosing everything fully with that line... it should read:
"These baseless attacks send the wrong signal to our troops and to an enemy that is questioning America's will," he said. "As our troops fight a ruthless enemy, whose numbers I've dramatically increased for years to come, determined to destroy our way of life, they deserve to know that their elected leaders who voted to send them to war continue to stand behind them."

3. We just need to stop listening to this idiot.
God how pathetic is this ?

Reminds me of a line from Star Wars :" Whos'e the bigger fool? The fool or the fool who follows him ? " I so love seeing his support errode like this.

Hell, his days are numbered anyway. Worst President Ever.

5. but it's humorous to watch him debate Kerry like he's back in 2004!
he never mentioned Gore ONCE during his first 4 years. not once. and here he is actually arguing with Kerry in public, a year after his "re-election." he's toast!

11. You just have to hate them.
All bad, All the time and you're right, its not just the Clenis anymore.

this is just getting more and more amusing as their world implodes.
I am so, so pleased this is happening NOW than later.
I don't see them accomplishing much this year, however we can be fooled and
caution is necessary. As much as I would like to make this into a 2 demensional cartoon situation, I feel if any kind of serious dialogue is to happen in the future, a little empathy is going to help - NOT that the Chimp adminsitration won't be held accountble for fraud, mismanagement, dishonesty, and mean spirited greed.

or stolen elections either.

or the unjustified invasion of Iraq

or negligence in the wake of Katrina, readiness prior to 9/11 and tens of thousands killed here and abroad, but who cares as long as you can have tax cuts?

7. Dems are the only ones it occurs to him to blame.
He doesn't want to blame Republicans; and it never occurs to him to blame himself. Independents are down on him almost as much as Dems. Who else does he have to blame?

8. But what's not funny is how many of us agree with him
I say aim the rant cannon where it belongs, directly at Bush and the Republicans.

No more eating our own!

12. We have to look at what is really going on.
October, the worst month for American casualties 92 I think. How many this month 26.
Libby indicted for lying.
Karl Rove still under investigation.
Bush lied to the world.
A month and a half later Bush decides to speak, on
Veterans day, and start the blame game.
The Iraq's are pissed, this is not going to stop, until Bush grows a brain, and I don't see that happening.

13. I'm more than happy to oblige the president.
The more he whines, the more trouble I'm willing to give him.
