It's not so much the younger dimwit that should be the focus of attention here, but the large share of an electorate that votes for the guy even though his credentials don't begin to pass the laugh test. Never underestimate the role of right-wing propaganda in getting the likes of GWB elected.

3. what's sad is

I hated Bush The Elder - I always found him to be a manipulative liar who secretly ran a very bloody government for much longer than his 4 years. BUT, at least he was somewhat competent. If I had to chose between the 2, I'd take the Elder.

Then again, I am enjoying watching the Younger self-destruct his mandate. I just hope he doesn't take us with him.
