Next, I'm going to read a list of people who may be running in the Democratic primary for president in the next election. After I read all the names, please tell me which of those candidates you would be most likely to support for the Democratic nomination for president in the year 2004. . . ." Names rotated

Howard Dean 27
Joe Lieberman 12
Wesley Clark 12
Dick Gephardt 7
John Kerry 7
John Edwards 6
Al Sharpton 6
Carol Moseley Braun 3
Dennis Kucinich 2

7. Nothing is certain in life.
But here's one thing you can bank on - I'll vote Indy before I throw away my vote on Joseph Lieberman.

ABBL (Anybody but Bush or Lieberman)

6. Or you might get Clark
They're tied and all. But I am not in any stop Dean movement any more than any campaign wants to stop its opposing candidate.

8. the "Stop Dean movement" is imaginary
John Kerry is running aggressively in Iowa. If there were a Stop Dean movement, he wouldn't split the anti-Dean vote with Gephardt.
