all sorts of names - with "The American Left is unwell -- driven around the bend by rage" the least of them.
After "losers mad about patriotism, capitalism, and the War on Terror, who are upset seeing all the minority conservatives in the Republican Party", we move on to "the Left's foul-mouthed bigots in Hollywood, its pie-throwing lunatics on college campuses, and the creeps in the fetid swamps of the liberal blogosphere."
Seems we have been having "hair-brained attacks" on Republican women, people of faith, troops, and veterans, as we abandoned reasoned arguments and substituted ad hominem attacks and conspiracy theories.
Yep - that is what malkin is saying - that the Left has left logic behind and "substituted ad hominem attacks".
Is there anything evil being done by the GOP today that is not immediately attribute to the left? It would be LOL except for the media buying into this crap.
So it is the left that has a "paranoid style" in American politics -- a pathological state of mind marked by "heated exaggeration, suspiciousness, and conspiratorial fantasy" where they have "activists at Democratic National Committee headquarters in June 2005 handing out documents suggesting Israel was behind 9/11 -- plus the other crackpot ideas circulated by the likes of Madeleine Albright and Howard Dean". I do like fact free and guilt by association writing (although I plead guilty to at least buying into the Madeleine Albright and Howard Dean thoughts). But why is being anti-torture (code words used are "hysteria over Gitmo" a bad? - and when did the party equate to a "Tenured radical: the University of Colorado professor who called the victims of 9/11 "Little Eichmanns" and suggested that soldiers in Iraq should murder their commanding officers" - leaving aside that both parts of that are out of context.
And I thought I followed the news, but when did leftist college students fake attacks against themselves in an attempt to show that conservatives are racist and intolerant?
Meanwhile Human event's is via Malkin selling the idea that oil and gas companies have actually brought in below average profits.??? LOL :-)
Not to mention Human Events selling the logic that Judge John Roberts is not be questioned on memos written as a Gov employee in the Reagan Whitehouse because Sen. Ted Kennedy has not authorized the release of his attorney-client discussions about Chappaquiddick Island for the last 36 years.???? !!!! :-)
If all Human Events columists have Malkin's logic, then I guess Robert Novak, L. Brent Bozell, Terence Jeffrey, Bruce Bartlett, Thomas Sowell, David Limbaugh, Phyllis Schlafly, Oliver North and Ann Coulter are "must reads!
LOL - God, they are nuts!
:toast:
