Could some smart person tell me what the Woodward revelation will mean?
How does this change the game? What are possible implications? Thanks.

1. Oh, just that they were shopping that little tidbit about a month
a month earlier than anyone realized and that there were even more of them peddling it.

2. I'm smart, sort of,
but it's impossible to say that it means anything in a legal sense, since we have no way of knowing what else Fitzgerald is doing. For instance, how did Fitzgerald know to subpoena Woodward? Someone must have mentioned that Woodward knew about Plame, but who?

We'll see. It's all good, child. Be patient.

3. It means that at least one former prosecutor interviewed on the
Situation Room a few minutes ago is nervous and talking very fast, and spinning like a dreidle.

Trying to make it out that this was good for Libby, bad for Fitzgerald.

Wolf Blitzer kept asking pertinent questions that didn't fit what she was saying.

Did anyone see that and catch the name of the former prosecutor who was interviewed only minutes ago? (2:25 pm MST, 1:25 pm PST, 3:25 pm CST, 4:25 pm EST)

and Republican shill. She is such a hypocrite....you should have heard her during the Lewinsky mess. She would have drive a stake through the Big dog's heart.

5. One thing it means is that Woodward picked the wrong side.
Just like Watergate - the Plamegate/WHIG thing is a war between the WH and the spooks. Woodward was a spook and worked for the interests of the FBI and CIA during Watergate. He went native and became part of the WHIG group post start of war and simply picked the wrong side. Stupid to pick hacks over spooks.

9. Wolf Blitzer then talked to an Woodward's editor at the Post
Sounds like the source released Woodward to allow him to testify very recently, but not to print or talk about the story.

I think the editor said that the source went to the prosecutor, Fitzgerald, and mentioned he'd talked to Woodward.

Woodward talked to 3 WH critters. Andy Card, which conversation was said to be "incidental." So why mention it, I wonder. Libby was another. The other one they still are protecting, they say.
