17 NOV 1973 - another great day in gop history
32 years ago but it seems so fresh, so republican. Richard Nixon, speaking to an AP Managing Editors Meeting in Orlando Florida 32 years ago today said: "People have got to know whether their President is a crook. Well I'm not a crook."

What a grand old legacy.

1. Today, repukes don't even pretend not
to be crooks. They just go ahead with their criminal enterprise trusting that the corporate whores will, for the most part, cover their slimy asses. I think if chimp or Cheney came out and said, "Of course I'm a crook," the whores would find a positive way to spin it.

2. They might not even have to spin it too much.
I'm afraid Joe/Jane Sixpack has become so accepting of anything the repubs choose to shovel at him/her that it no longer really registers. Just another day in the great ole USA.
