Isn't Bush a "senior White House Official' ? Couldn't he be described that way if you couldn't release his name? Woodward admittedly met with Bush numerous times.Could Cheney just be a smoke screen?

1. He has never done his own dirty work. He always uses others.
Does he order bad acts to be done? sure, but I doubt that he did it. Remember, this is a boy-king who loves the trappings of office more than anything else, except himself. Recall how he reacted to reporters who forgot to call him Mr. President?
He would not get his hands dirty with such pedestrian, menial labor.

lines of a temper tantrum or complaining to Woodward, to whom he WAS speaking. He was trying to burnish his image for the book and I recall that there was some whining in his statement.I see something like this wouldn't have been questioned "except for "Wilson and his B of a wife Valerie Plame, who works for the CIA"

6. What is going to be interesting is seeing if Cheney will throw Bush under
the bus. I don't see Cheney allowing himself to be sacrificed. Cheney is no Libby.
