Hackett, Kerry and Murtha are unPatriotic and cowards
but scrubbie, cheney and rumsfield are patriotic and heroes. Only in the world of Republicans would 3 decorated war veterans who fought bravely be described as unPatriotic and cowardly, while holding men who used everything at their disposal to avoid going to war as Patriotic and heroic.

2. GOP "logic":
Treason is a core American value
CIA agents are outed all the time!
Clinton did it
Draft-dodgers fight for their country, unlike those lazy post-war veterans
In order to pay for all the pork bills, we must have more tax cuts!
Clinton did it
The Founding Fathers were unpatriotic
The Constitution guarantees equality, which is why we must ban all gay marriage
We're patriotic, you're not
Clinton did it

10. And now, according to Countdown, they might go after Murtha on ethics.
Can you dig it? House Repukes, who stonewalled on investigating the now-indicted Tom Delay, going after Murtha? Even Howie Fineman said tonight that it is pure, raw, partisan politics .. straight from Rove's office. Mr. Fitzgerald, please work faster. For the sake of the nation.

I have tears of pure raw hate in my eyes and the bitter bile of revenge in my throat. I can't even speak of what infects my mind and speeds my heart. It would land me in Gitmo, quick.

6. Like little boys in a schoolyard
who is yellow and who has balls.

Sometimes I get so tired of it. Can't we just mind our own business and take care of our own?

But it has always been this way and I guess it always will be.

11. I have had wing-nuts tell me that Kerry injured himself and was
only in Viet Nam for three friggin' DAYS....he only went there long enough to make videos for when he runs for President thirty years later. People are total idiots.

13. But somehow when he ran for President
the actual video footage of him seems to be less than a few minutes minute where he is walking and turning and smiling. The story that he was re-creating scenes is crazy - the areas his battles were in still belonged to the VC. I doubt his men would go with him even if he wanted to. His story that he took video of the people and the land and the boats when not in battle to send to family seems far more likely.

If he shot himself 3 times in 3 days. What's sad is that they make up unbelievable lies to themelves to avoid accepting that the liberal "tough dove" could possibly have more guts and courage than they.

12. Didn't Murtha point out Cheney's deferments?
I seem to recall seeing footage of Murtha talking about somebody with five deferments. Was that Cheney he was talking about? I certainly hope so.

Cheney KILLS me. He struts around with that sneer of contempt and all the while is surrounded by protectors, but of course when 19-year-old boys were getting maimed and slaughtered, he had "other priorities." What a phoney. What a phoney.
