Bush had the will to wage war, he did not have the will to wage it well
He could have waited to go in on more secure grounds. He could have assembled a larger coalition. He could have realized time was on his side, he had no need for precipitous actions. He could have had better intelligence and not stuff that was made to order. He could have listened to his generals. He could have planned for the aftermath. He could have been accountable when things went bad and made personnel adjustments. He could have strongly and openly denounced torture and punished its advocates, instead of embracing it and loosing Americas moral imperative for the foreseeable future. He couldn't have done a crappier job as Commander-in-Chief.

2. Too risky

The truth about no WMD's might have had time to come out with more inspections.

The economy was bad and they nneeded a distraction.

It was decided on politics and preordained, everything else was unimportant.

There was no reason for the unprovoked invasion PERIOD. Stop using this BS argument.
