Buyer from Indiana Lied
Republican Rep. Steve Buyer from Indiana, either lied to the house tonight when he was talking about visiting Arlington Cemetery or hes never been there. He talked about visiting Arlington and seeing the "white crosses and stars of david" Anyone who has been to Arlington knows all the headstones there are regular rounded top stones, there are no headstones at Arlington in the form of crosses or stars of david. Cheney got caught saying something to this effect a couple of years ago, when he gave a speech that had a phrase strangely similar to a World War 1 poem, "Flanders Field" which talked about white crosses row upon row. I haven't heard anyone on any show talking about this....

7. I did not realize this...
....I have not been (and will admit this) to Arlington.I hope someone will send this to, Oh,say Obermann. It is SO obvious to have a clown like this confess to a personal type of patriotic piety and then describe his catharsis at the relevatory moment....and it is FALSE...is there anything more disgusting than making up a "moment"of supposed patriotism to support your party line???

9. Hate to defend a Repug, but...
...for accuracy's sake, don't these usually have the religious symbol carved into the tombstone? I found a couple examples in a google image search of 'military tombstone'.

Of course if he specifically said "ROWS of crosses" in his speech, when there's no such thing at Arlington, then he's a lying ass...

11. He said rows of crosses
He did say rows of crosses, and stars of david. You just cant stand on the hill at Arlington and look down on rows of crosses and stars of david....

13. If Buyer's conscious, he's lying
Isn't he the idiot who claimed to have seen the plane hit the pentagon and then had to recant because he was no where near it?
