I am listening to cnn--many people are confused about

the vote as they are cutting the Dems for not supporting Murtha.
This was planned confusion by the Repugs and some newscasters are mudding the watters also--by not making a distinction between the two.

2. May the media polish their halos!
I have noticed a faint glow of truth lately! Perhaps it is Fitzteralds of the world looking over thier sholders.

3. I suspect...
...that email read on CNN which "confused" dems voting against last night's farce with dems voting against the "Murtha Bill" was astroturf. I'll bet the writer was a pub just trying to muddy the waters.

Maybe it'd be interesting for a few of us to be "confused Republicans" and write in that:

"we can't understand why Duncan Hunter submitted that bill last night calling for immediate withdrawal. No planning, no nothing. Just bug out. At least the Democrat plan calls for planning and an orderly withdrawal. Why is Duncan Hunter for cutting and running?"

PS--BTW, I hate the term "Democrat" in place of the adjective "Democratic". That last part in the quotation marks was me imitating a "confused Republican" which, of course, I'm not.

What I would like to see more attention to is Hunter's voting against his own resolution. That is disgraceful and a sure sign the whole thing was a stunt, instigated, I understand, by J. D. Haywood, who has said he doesn't want Bush near him during his re-election try.
