and also he was on the news today outlining why the Republican's talking points on staying the course in Iraq are making the situation WORSE for the US, not better.

The privatization of our supposedly non-partisan intelligence agencies has gotten so bad that now most of the sane ones are having to come back and go on the news shows to explain just how we got into the Mess-O-Potamia in the first place.

The neocons who blew sunshine up everyone's asses need to be held accountable. Election 2006 seems a great place to start.

Democrats need to retake House and Senate seats and get the country back on the right track.

I think he has demonstrated considerable courage. It is appreciated.
He has consistently said that we should not be in Iraq and that there is no winning strategy.

In his last piece for NiemanWatchdog.org, retired Gen. William Odom argued that all the terrible things the Bush administration says would happen if we pulled our troops out of Iraq are happening already. In a new postscript, Odom writes that the converse is true as well: Bush says he wants to bring democracy and stability to the greater Middle East -- but in fact the only way to achieve that goal is to get out of Iraq now.
