Would those photos be used in a campaign against him like the wind surfing pix were for John Kerry?

39. a guy riding a bike is "wonderful"???
I would think the terms "ordinary," "everyday," or "mundane" would be more appropriate.

13. You see something different than I do. . .
I don't get excited like the Free Republic readers are said to be, but I don't see a complete dork, either. Just a middle-aged white guy riding a bike. Think I'll go back to his Sartre exploit -- No Exit -- which is hilarious. Just can't get behind ridiculing him just because he is. That's too Sartrean, even for these bleak times.

21. Gotta put it in context.
He's not just a middle-aged white guy riding a bike. He's our alleged leader making a state visit to China, insisting on indulging his obsessive bike-riding routine when he should be out satisfying his non-existent curiosity about a country which will be our major rival in the future. In short, he should acting like an American President and not just any old middle-aged white guy. The bike-riding in and of itself shows what a fool he is.

junior should have went to the zoo.

Then he should have wrestled a bear. A Panda Bear! Chinese folks like good humor. This would have put him in the league with Abraham Lincoln.

36. I wrote what I believe. . .
Is conformity of thought that necessary to your well-being you must insist I agree with you? He looks like a middle-aged white guy on a bike. I'm a middle-aged white guy. Why should I believe -- based solely on his age and his activity -- that it makes him out to be a complete twit? What would you say of me, were you to see me on a bike? (And I'm somewhat heftier, so the silhouette would be more comical.)

You're from Texas. There are a host of negative stereotypes and slanders about people from Texas. Should I assume they all apply to you, simply because you hail from there?

They are a major buyer of U.S. debt. He'll cycle with anyone who promotes world corporatism. That's how his elitist family made their fortune, for all time.

28. Why is he holding the helmet exactly so?
Edited on Tue Nov-22-05 01:10 AM by tirechewer
In the group shot, second from the bottom he is posing with his helmet carefully on a level with his nads. He seems to have a fixation with that area. The second picture from the top looks like he's shoving his hand in his pants, and then the bit with the helmet.

The helmet looked, at first glance, like a strange red target painted where you would least like to get hit. Or maybe a small oscillator which would spin and draw all eyes to his poverty zone.

You know I tried to give him the benefit of the doubt and assume he had the full three piece set, but I can't quite go there.

This is the man who stuffed socks down his pants so that he would appear "manly" on his aircraft carrier photo op when he declared the war in Iraq was "over" long ago.

Nah. I think he was trying to cover his own embarrassment.

seriously, the president has to emphasize his wang around the chinese because on a gut level this registers with the freepers, "Don't worry, our nationalistic penis is still big even though the chinese are passing us up."

And we don't understand how they could vote for the shmuck in numbers. But where we see a complete fool, they see "the coolest president ever."

I can relate alittle. I see a good man where some people see a flip flopping, windsurfing corporatist coward.
