3. Someone needs to put Neil in his place and Clark is the man who can do it!
Edited on Mon Nov-21-05 03:12 PM by CottonBear
I saw Nancy Pelosi stomp his pompous ass the other day. It was great.

BTW, I take it that a being called a "tosser" is not a good thing.
(I know what a "git" is.)

4. I remember watching him
before the 2004 elections and he was talking about the economy and prefaced his remarks with "Should the unthinkable happen and Kerry gets elected..."

Yeah, things sure are going swell with Bush sitting in the white HOuse again. :eyes:

7. Yep...General Clark didn't bite..
With Cavuto trying to get him to respond to the rhetoric they have been pumping...Going back to the Hillary and Kerry statements...Clark totally refused to comment on the fox talking points and sidestepped them with "I think we need to stop the rhetoric, and tell the American People the FACTS and how we are going to solve them...Whew, what a guy!

14. Telling people not to label and name call is considered a
"dodge"? Well, I just learned something new today. I thought that Clark was like staying on the subject instead of becoming infantile.

Actually some call what you are calling "Dodges" diplomatic handling. Telling someone they are acting like a child without saying it is an art!

9. Here is a Brief rundown on WKC remarks with Covuto...
Just thought you would like the rundown from one of the Clarkies! I am sure they don't mind sharing General Clarks words!

Dark suit, dark (red?) tie. Speaking simple truths. Would be good if terrorist leader in Iraq is dead, but killing one man won't matter (not quite in those words). Said election might not make much difference - we had an election prior to the civil war. He would not set timetable. We do need a series of events to peg a "timetable" to. Reasonable. Cavuto challenges him about other Dems, insinuating they're not supporting troops. Wes doesn't buy that. Wouldn't deal with things the same way Kerry does. Wes says that Cheney, etc. did hype data and have a lot to answer to (woo-hoo). Won't use the word "duped" that Cavuto wants him to re: Clinton, Kerry, etc. Says Cheney did mislead the public. Cavuto says that implies the president lied. Wes won't play that game. Need to take away rhetoric. Neither side serves itself well by labeling. We need to ask the questions. Cavuto challenges him again and again in a number of ways. Wes won't play that game. Wes says he wouldn't have voted for the resolution, as he's made clear (as Cavuto asks about Edwards' change of tune). So very interesting that Cavuto just won't let Wes talk. Tries to challenge him again and again. Wes just not playing that game.

How refreshing. And, at the same time, frustrating. But the Dems are making gains. The Repubs and their supporters would not be so upset otherwise!
