7. A computer question for CNN polls. For some reason I can
never vote for CNN polls. I have no problem with MSNBC, AOL, or any of the other polls, just CNN. Does anyone have any idea of what could be set wrong in my computer? I'm not exactly a computer techie. A white screen comes up that says the page cannot be displayed. Thanks in advance for anyone who can help. I'd sure love to vote in CNN polls.

13. It could be a number of things;
Which version of windows are you running? Do you have the latest version of your web browser? What are your security settings? Are you accepting cookies? Maybe your web browser cache needs emptied.

16. OK - like I said I'm not a techie so be patient. I have Windows
XP and I use Internet Explorer, Version 6.0.2900.2180. I'm not sure if that is the latest version or not. I recently changed internet providers and the technician came and set it up so I'm not sure if he updated it then or not. I looked at the security settings and they are set at medium. After that I don't know where to look for accepting cookies or how to empty the web cache.

and install FireFox

http://www.mozilla.org/products/firefox/

It's MUCH better, more secure and doesn't support the great satan Micro$oft...the Wal-Mart of software.
