The problem with the GOP myth creation is that once we know the lies
& exaggerations - as human beings we insist on knowing the truth. We don't walk around in our lives trying to be mis-informed. They take us to war on faulty intelligence blown up to cartoon preportions and we insist on knowing the truth.

They should have played their games with the 30% who will believe anything and not care what the facts are as long as the "myth" feels good.

What stupid - stupid men.

3. Why should they ever - as neocons - ever get the support of the wast
majority of the population? They have admitted and demonstrated their contempt for any truths.

6. They Don't Need the Support of a Majority. They Only Need the Fundies...
and

and they are guaranteed 200% of the Fundie vote.

2. It goes beyond that.
The lies they have been telling on Iraq and terrorism hurt the United States as a whole, including them.

The lies they have been telling on the environment and global warming hurt the world as a whole, including them.

{etc., . . .)

Their lies are not even in their own long term best interests.

So what, beyond massive and incomprehensible denial is going on?

4. well - for every year "big oil" puts off reality they make more money.
All about putting off the end of the American Empire. All about little boys afraid of not having control. Pathetic!

7. America has a empire of tiertiary industries. High tech, the internet,
nanotechnology, science. They have that advantage and can protect that baby (as they are) for 200 more years.

That is how American will survive. Every other country on the planet is in a lesser position. You don't see them whining.

5. I just hope there's enough of us paying attention to see what's
been going on. Many people don't even watch the news or read a paper. :wtf:
