4. Hey, I'd check it out every day...
but absolutely not from any Administration officials or propagandists like Hughes, McClellen et al.

Wouldn't you r e a l l y like to know more actual info about what's happened? I sure would, and I think everyone on Earth deserves the truth about something so important.

If there was a really credible source for real info, we would have been more successful and out of there waaaay sooner.

Not that we should've invaded Iraq in the first place!!!

5. That's a sucker question.
If you say rarely or never, it would be viewed as "Why should * bother, nobody cares anyway". If you say regularly, it can be viewed as you'd actually believe what you hear.

I don't want Shrub to get off without haveing to put his lies on video tape! Besides, you know how much he HATES to go before the cameras with explainations!!!! I want him to suffer!

7. It's hard to know how to vote on this one. I would never listen
to ** on anything because he is extremely annoying and all he does is lie anyway. But I think he needs to keep the rest of the sheeple updated on how swell everything is.

8. I would only if it included Q&A
If bush held a regular "update" on the war and engaged in serious debate with both reporters and civilians I might tune in. Otherwise, if it would just be him spouting his talking points then I might just as well read the newspaper, since he already has that mouthpiece.

And I certainly don't mean prescripted chats with hand-picked personnel or rigged town-hall style "debates" with preselected "average folk" either. No, it would have to be as open and honest as he could possibly muster (which means, of course, it'll never happen) for me to even be in the least bit interested.

9. What a ridiculous idea. This is a different war and different era...
and I'm sure most people wouldn't sit next to the radio listening to Bush give fireside chats filled with lies and propaganda. Why not let the media cover the war fair and square with no restrictions, reporting as it happens. That is how we could be updated on Iraq, but it will never happen.

why bother listening to more lies....
misleading statements, spin, smear tactics, mud slinging and information manipulations?

if bush* does give fire-side chats - it would be prudent for him to wear asbestos-lined pants to prevent them from catching on fire and having his butt go up in flames
