When will people learn...It's the lies...
Edited on Mon Nov-28-05 08:31 AM by rpannier
When I was younger, I tried to get out of trouble by lying my way out of things and it always made the situation worse. Most people had the smae experience as children. Yet, this seems to be something that is lost on politicians.
In Britain when the police killed the Brazilian man in the subway, the British police lied about almost every issue surrounding the shooting.
Last year, the Israeli government lied about firing into a city center that killed 16 people. They claimed they only hit Hezbollah, when in reality they fired at civilians and knew they had done so(after it was over), but continued to deny they had.
The US Army lied about that female private in the Iraqi hospital -- to the point where she was so embarassed over the lies the Army was spinning she had to come clean.
The Army lied about the Phosphorus bombings in Iraq.
And scrub lies so much, he doesn't seem to remember when he's lying and when he's telling the truth.
I could go on: THe Hezbollah lie constantly, Representatives of the North Korean government lie everytime they open their mouths, Mugabe lies, and so forth. The truth always comes out. -- They just never
seem to learn -- It's the lies.
