Early exit (from Iraq) would be a mistake according to Bush
But let's not forget who made the early (and unnecessary) entrance into Iraq. Without that mistake we wouldn't have to worry about an exit at all. And we all know the entrance mistake was Bush's.

It's funny reading of Bush talking about mistakes. One would think the perpetrator of the greatest strategic mistake in American history would steer clear of the word "mistake."

Bush made a colossal mistake. Bush is a mistake. Let's not let him change the subject.
