republicans pissed that cunningham got caught
- bush and gop "leaders" offered strong denunciations of cunningham's actions.
- Party leaders moved to distance themselves from cunningham's FELONY plea.
- republicans expressed shock and embarrassment at wrongdoing. bush, (who profited from insider trading at harken and deserted his military united to avoid a drug test - my words) described the action as "outrageous.
- and on and on and on.

Well that should sate the lemmings. Republican lawmakers are shocked, shocked I tell you. bush says its outrageous. And of course the philosophers at free republic see nothing wrong with the Duksters actions. He's just a victim of the politics of personal destruction. And besides this isn't anything serious like a blowjob.

1. Looks like Ol' Duke is the tip of the iceberg
and Chimpy's crew is manning the Titanic. With all the investigations going on into the financially incestuous dealings between repuke "lawmakers" and corporate lapdogs, this is just the first indictment. Delay's and Doolittles wives got "jobs" with companies/groups/lobbyists seeking favorable treatment from Congress.

2. They're just trying to set up their places in the lifeboats
for when they begin squealing like pigs upon their own indictments.

3. At least they're consistent
they aren't sorry they did it, they're sorry they got caught. :nopity: Law, order and rules are for "other" people.
