4. being from the east coast, I don't know much about boxer...
... but from what I hear I like! I'm afraid Conyers might be too old to go through the rigors of a bid, but he would be perfect for our country!

3. Something I need to know re: Clark & Edwards
both are out of the public sector. what are they doing that'll keep them fresh until '08?

I think they are the best candidates, as long as they can stay in the public eye in some productive manner.

6. Clark is in the forefront, in particular concerning the Iraq situation....
Flashback: Bush's Exit Strategy, Meet Wesley Clark's

General: Make friends, plug borders, get out

November 30th, 2005 10:56 AM

Editor's note:
So President George Bush has a new plan for winning the war, the 35-page "Our National Strategy for Victory in Iraq."

And Hillary Clinton may be feeling the need for one, too.

Earlier this fall, General Wesley Clark, a 2004 presidential contender, gave a Washington, D.C. crowd a few pointers for getting U.S. troops out of Iraq.

.....more....
http://www.villagevoice.com/news/0549,news,70568,2.html

and.....
Dec 1st issue of the Rolling Stones, long article on Iraq....in where Clark has got some very good quotes!
http://www.rollingstone.com/politics/story/_/id/8799011?pageid=rs.Politics&pageregion=single1

But he's doing much much more.....I just don't have the time to lay it out, but let's just say he's the man that folks are listening to....on Iraq anyways, even if he doesn't get the credit, cause he usually so ahead of the curve until by the time others latch on to what he was saying, many forgot that he said it first!

One of those tickes will surely trump a McCain/X or a Rice/X.
