while i'm not aware of any Senate Dems coming out in favor of Murtha's bill, such is not the case in the House ...
Pelosi said she believes a majority of House Dems support Murtha's bill ... it's nice to see that there's support for the bill beyond DU's "radical lefty freeper fringe" ...
once again, Senator Kerry "distanced himself" from Murtha's plan ... still, Kerry supporters want us to believe there's very little difference between the plans ... yeah, right ...

John Murtha to quickly start the withdrawal of U.S. troops from Iraq, and said she believed a majority of her caucus supported it as well.
"I will be supporting the Murtha resolution," Pelosi said of his plan calling for withdrawal of U.S. troops from Iraq at the earliest practicable date.
Pelosi, a California congresswoman who had opposed the March 2003 invasion of Iraq, said she believed a majority of House Democrats "clearly supports Mr. Murtha." But she said was speaking for herself and would not press for a united Democratic position on the issue.

A number of other Senate Democrats also have distanced themselves from Murtha's stance, saying the draw-down of U.S. troops should hinge on conditions on the ground in Iraq.
"Jack and I and others believe that you need to approach it in the way that we've set out, where you have certain measurements for that success over a period of time," Sen. John Kerry of Massachusetts said at a news conference with fellow Democratic Sen. Jack Reed of Rhode Island.
