Edited on Wed Nov-30-05 11:42 PM by zidzi
he's doin' his monologue.

The second Dean comes on I'll post it. I don't if he's going to be number one like with Letterman. I'm thinking after Felicity Huffman.

11. Good interview, I wonder if Crooks and Liars will have it?
Oh, and on The Colbert Report, Rep Kilpatrick D-Michigan (Detroit), and one of the editor from "The Nation," both worth seeing.

2. Pelosi should be great ...
Edited on Wed Nov-30-05 11:24 PM by welshTerrier2
i saw her very moving press conference today ...

she said she now supports Murtha's resolution ... she also said a majority of the House Dems are likely to support it as well ...

Kerry took a pretty good ribbing in that opening bit ...

Pelosi just agreed with Stewart's assertion that no Democratic opposition plan got any traction until Murtha's plan ...

Pelosi: "what we are doing in Iraq is making our country less safe"

8. having her behind Murtha's plan is HUGE !!
and she was great with Stewart ... she came across as both knowledgeable and personable ...

she said several times today that the House is way ahead of the Senate on Iraq ... sounds like our timid Dem Senators are going to start feeling some heat ...

Murtha's plan has tapped into the "great energy source" ... calculated, heavily parsed, mechanical formulas from the Senate did not and will not sell ... it's time for the Dems in the Senate to figure out how to "migrate their positions" ...

my script for them: "it's clear the president will not listen to reason on Iraq ... he wants to stubbornly cling to his ill-conceived hope that things would just all work out ... Democrats in the Senate had hoped he would develop a specific plan for success but it's become clear he just will not listen to reason ... this refusal to accept reality leaves us with no other choice ... we are now, as a Party, fully aligned with Congressman's Murtha's call for the immediate redeployment of American troops out of Iraq ... our troops have to come first and subjecting them to more of the president's open-ended war in Iraq is not acceptable ..."

7. "Tell that old jarhead that
he Rocks my World!"!

That's what Pelosi told Jon that someone told her to tell Murtha after he made his resolution known on Nov 17, 2005.

Nancy was fantastic..she told Jon that those banners behind bush were to remind him why he was there.

She held no verbal punches when discussing bush.

Anyone who didn't see it should catch the video when they can.

It was brilliant of Stewart to have Nancy Pelosi on tonight after bush's propoganda catapulting today!

The West, still kind of "kidnappy."

O.K. here's the final graphic which includes the East

19. VIDEO from last nights "Daily Show" is FINALLY at Comedy Central!
Last nights show I'd rate as an 8 1/2 to 9 out of 10, definitely a must see if you missed it!

Here's the link: <http://www.comedycentral.com/shows/the_daily_show/videos/most_recent/index.jhtml>

The Show started off with Jon's great reaction to Rep. Jean Schmidt comment about Rep. Murtha and then commentary about yesterdays speech by *, which is the clip labeled "Operation Not-That-Bad."

Then, they when to Rob Cordrey "in Iraq" for his explanation of the situation. This one is a definite Must See
labeled "De-Weakening Iraq."

Then Ed Helms reported on the *'s rallies, created by proud members of the "Photographic Operations Unit" or "PhotoOpps!" It's labeled "Rallying with Troops"

Then, House Democratic Leader, Rep. Nancy Pelosi wrapped it up as Jon's interview guest. She might not have been super funny, but she got a lot of good shots in about the Iraq War debacle, I think you'll be able to figure out which clip she is in.

If nothing else, check out "De-Weakening Iraq."
