This Print survived the Hurricane
The painting was named "Post Hurricane Blues". I wonder if the actual painting made it out.

1. Strange, in a way, that a humorous hurricane print would survive.
I like it, by the way.

:)

4. Very welcome.
We just don't want to be forgotten down here. There is this new sense of desperation that seems to be sinking in as the feds refuse to commit to sufficient hurricane protection.

5. we are not forgetting you, i promise you we will not. i can not imagine
the desperation you must all be feeling.
from here, we are feeling it, for you, with you.

we wear armbands, me and my mother, mourning bands for those neglected and abandoned in new orleans.

i often feel desperate in my powerlessness to make substantial differences, and in my fury. but it is, i know, but the slightest touch of what you must feel.

please keep on!

we will be holding you in our hearts and souls, constantly.

please feel us ever pouring healing golden light all around and through you all

peace and solidarity

6. I started another Katrina thread and it's totally buried
It's here:

http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=show_mesg&forum=103&topic_id=176750&mesg_id=176750

Am hoping that you and other DUers might post a response to unbury it.
