Neil Cavuto's advice to those who criticize our current economy: "Shut up"

Three months ago, it was all doom, all gloom, all the time. Hurricane Katrina hit. And it was just a matter of time, we were told, before our economy would be hit as well. And stay hit.

It didn't.

Three months after oil prices rocketed on fears of supply disruption, they tumbled on the realization there was no long-lasting disruption. Three months after gas prices soared, they've since subsided. Three months after warnings of hundreds of thousands of jobs lost in this economy, collectively more than 300,000 since "added" to this economy. Three months after experts were saying the economy would stall, reminders just this week, that in the latest quarter it surged a staggering 4.3 percent. Three months after they were warning people would stop buying, holiday sales proved they haven't "stopped" buying.

It's amazing, when you think of it. A nation that's had to endure hurricanes and high energy prices, a protracted Iraq war and deep political divisions, a president with poll ratings in the pits and nearly daily drumbeats of negative news that paints a nation in the pits... we are a nation in the pink. We're doing, moving, shopping, hiring and booming. So the next time you hear experts say we can't measure up, tell them to stand down. But first, tell them to shut up.

3. The months after the government was exposed as a total fraud...
...it starts issuing all sorts of reports about how wonderful it is doing.

Will the lying never end?

4. The economy is only good for the upper crust of the society
and it's not trickling down. In fact, the middle class is shrinking because of higher energy prices, higher medical costs, etc. We're shrinking the middle class and torturing the low income.

Cavuto needs to get out of the Faux cocoon.

5. Shut up fuckhead
How much did the population grow to produce those McJobs? I bet even hamburger manufacturing is down over five years ago adjusted for population.

6. All on credit, Mr. Cavuto, all on credit. It would be better to
kill rich people now than to pay their debt later.

8. as a former accountant i'd like to say that Neil Cavuto knows jack shit
about business. When all those adjustable mortgages start coming due this spring and next fall he'll be spinning his fat head off because those my Friends are going to be a very large problem unless of course you can afford a huge swing up in your mortgage payment. 30% of all mortgages gotten last year are interest only adjustable.

10. Don't forget the government jobs and the national debt
The Outstanding Public Debt as of 04 Dec 2005 at 05:09:31 AM GMT is:
$ 8 , 1 1 5 , 3 9 0 , 2 1 4 , 1 6 3 . 9 4

The estimated population of the United States is 297,879,431

The National Debt has continued to increase an average of
$2.83 billion per day since September 30, 2005!

16. The clueless, 7-figure press. I just heard Friday that one of my
Rep agencies laid off half its employees just in time for whatever the Hell we're supposed to call this season.

This is in the sector, home building, that is supposed to be fueling the economy.

My wish this season...Here's to the Press, may they all have to get out and get a "service-wage" job.

19. Like the war in Iraq..
... happy talk only goes so far. I swear, we get one good month of numbers and these fuckheads go nuts.

Reality will set in, and soon. 8.1 trillion in debt, increasing at an unprecedented rate, record trade deficits, rising energy prices that are going nowhere but up, manufacturing base decimated and high-paying service jobs being outsourced - just where is the silver lining in this cloud? I pride myself in being able to find one, THERE ISN'T ONE.

Add to all that the FACT that inflation, growth and unemployment numbers are manipulated to the point of near meaninglessness. This merely makes it all worse, when the train hits everyone is going to bitch about the "bad intelligence".

The Fed has been pumping freshly printed $$$$ into this economy like there was no tomorrow for 5 years. Usually, we would in fact be booming right now, but that is hardly the case. Instead of dealing with problems, we've just forestalled the hard times and made them much harder when they inevitably arrive. Even dipshit Greenspan sees the rocky road ahead.

Don't give me that "subsided" BULLSHIT Neil. Hell...I guess they should have raised prices to $5.00 per gallon and then lowered back to $4.00. Then Neal and his FOX corporate thugs could tell America how GOOD we have it and how the Oil companies are doing all they can.

Oldest Corporate trick in the book Neil.........
