Republicans giving away all the "hot" money connected to Cunningham...

Republicans, like Katherine Harris, have been sucking up all the dollars they could get from crooks like Duke Cunningham, up until the last week or so. Now they want to give away all the "hot" dollars - even though they have been wallowing in them since 2002. There's sort of a perverted sense of satisfaction watching the make-up witch squirm...

MIAMI - U.S. Rep. Katherine Harris said she plans to donate to charity $51,000 in contributions linked to disgraced ex-U.S. Rep. Randy "Duke" Cunningham.

Cunningham, a Vietnam War veteran from Southern California, resigned Monday after pleading guilty in federal court to accepting at least $2.4 million in bribes for steering government contracts to two defense contractors.

Since 2002, federal records show, owners and employees of two companies identifiable in Cunningham's indictment - MZM Inc. and ADCS Inc. - have pumped the money into Harris' campaign.

"She doesn't want to be linked with (Cunningham) at all," Harris spokeswoman Morgan Dobbs said Friday. "She thought the best thing to do is give the money to charity."

Some of the ways Abramoff did his shenanigans was funneling money through charities or to charities that were controlled by certain people.

recycling the money back to themselves from a different "charity".

....a charity that will funnel all of that money right back into their election campaigns.

... what I was thinking. There are charities, and then there are self-dealing charities.

They never give money away. They always keep it within their circle....It should go to public works not Pat robertson...
