Why? There goes Bush's new the economy is great talking points. Also, the reason the job numbers were up is because people are hiring Christmas help. In February when the unemployment rate goes up because all of these people are no longer needed will they talk up these numbers.

2. Same thing happened here in Maine
Edited on Sun Dec-04-05 08:36 AM by ticapnews
The price at every pump in my town magically rose exactly 11 cents per gallon Friday night. Amazing how that works...different companies, different suppliers, exact same price...

Edit to add: This is obviously part of Dover's punishment for casting out God :P We're being punished here in Maine as well, because we voted for equal rights...

5. It obvious there is a coordinated communication
between the major oil companies..When there were independent gas station owners it wasn't like this..Then with the help of the EPA ,the major oil companies owned them all

10. I thought Bush already jump-started Dover's economy
when he campaigned there in the summer of 2004 and spent about $1.50.

He visited a Dover candy store and bought six chocolate-covered caramels - "150 calories a bite," he joked - six marshmallow candies and a bag of caramel corn. Total bill: $1.50.

I don't think he shared them, either.

11. You are feeling the first effects of the European Oil Reserves being cut..
A week or two ago, Europe ended the sale of their Strategic Oil Reserves to the U.S.

If you recall, nothing was ever said about the refineries or platforms coming back to full strength in the gulf after the Katrina and Rita (because they hadn't), however fuel prices at the pump started falling. That's because we cut a deal with the EU to buy some of their reserve oil. Moron* and his room full dopes did this so gas prices would fall in time for holiday shopping spree.

The EU stopped the sale because they needed for themselves. Little by little the prices are going to go back up, just in time for the bitterest part of the U.S. winter. So while all the morons out their driving their giant ass SUV's and thinking that the village idiot* really cares about them, they are going to be in for a very rude awaking in a few weeks.

The prices are going to fluctuate over the next few weeks but by this time next month, be prepared for sticker shock at the pump.

Area's of the country are already seeing giant jumps in their heating oil and natural gas prices.

Hold on tight, it's going to get rough from here on out.
