The Trial should be at the Hague
Edited on Sun Dec-04-05 09:15 AM by bigbrother05
Plot to attack Saddam's Trial, foiled.
If our troops are over in Irag to fight for freedom, democratic state, shouldn't Saddam be given the same priority. Don't flame me, I think he is getting everything he deserves. But maybe just maybe, if he was taken out of the country, the insurgents, just might slow down. Scenario, what if he escaped, then where would we be. Hell, we can't find Osama.
I think we should demand that the trial should be moved. For the sake of the soldiers.

1. The insurgents fight for their idea of "Iraq", not Saddam
Wouldn't change a damn thing.

2. Some of them like Saddam. You know - 20 % of the population 100%
of the wealth. They want to go back to that.

3. Do you mean kinda like the republicans
The americans have created this court, and its not going so well.

we have one witness, and one piece of evidence so far. Bush's plan is if he gets off, we will just find more evidence. I would rather have a real trial, as opposed to a kangaroo court.

4. Saddam was the means not the end for that wealth.
The problem with believing one's own propaganda on this is that it provides a basic misjudgment about the depth of the motivation of the other side. If it was just Saddam, we could shoot him and the war would end.

5. Certainly it should, but the U.S. doesn't want it there for obvious
reasons.
