What kind of big, giant party will YOU have when Bush gets tossed out?
I will be so deliriously happy that I won't be sensible for months. Just the mere thought of Bushie sitting on his heinie in the unemployment line makes me feel overcome with joy.

So I was just curious - what kind of party will YOU have when Bush and all his crooked pals are out of work?

How do we know those bastards aren't in the process of stealing yet another election and installing another puppet?

8. I refuse to allow 'pukes to deprive me of a "get thee gone" party.
No more stealing elections for them. People are wising up, and stealing elections isn't going to be so easy in the future.

9. What kind of music should we play?
The only songs I can think of:
1) Ding-Dong the Witch is Dead, from the Wizard of Oz;
2) Party like It's 1999, by Prince;
3) I will Survive (the old disco song).

What else would be appropriate?

Edited on Sun Dec-04-05 08:41 PM by justabob
too close for comfort anyway... the party will be bittersweet. :( The rumor I heard is that they bought a house in Dallas a mile or so from where I sit. I don't know if that is true, but it very well could be. In any case, him coming back to Texas doesn't make me happy. edit: Don't get me wrong... I will be veeeerrryyy happy when BushCo has left the White House. I just wish he'd go somewhere else, like Siberia, preferably one of the old gulags.

17. What - he's done clearing brush in Crawford?
He's not good for much else. What the heck could he do in Dallas, other than be an irritant for all the other fine citizens?

You could always stage massive protests, like folks do when other undesirables (like pedophiles) move into the neighborhood. Who would I rather have next door - a pedophile, or Bush? Hmmm.

but he lived here when he was involved with the Rangers, as did Cheney pre 2000. I doubt a protest would do any good at all (if one could be mustered) becasue the neighborhood in question will welcome him with open arms. *sigh*

edit: I just had another thought.... I wonder where Cheney will land.... *shudder*

somewhere with no extradition treaty.

I imagine he'll give inspirational talks to all sorts of aspiring Pinochets, Stroessners, and Kim Il Sungs. He will be paid in bricks of pure heroin.

18. same old
I think I'll invite the same old friends who were here on election night 2000. We all thought Gore had won and our company left to go home to bed. I got up in the middle of the night to check, though, and saw the bastard stealing the election. I was sick all night.

But I think I'll invite the same friends over and we can pick up where we left off. Would be a nice sense of continuity.

and I'll be the one paying for it and the pizza. Heck I'll even buy some streamers and party hats. Assuming they go out with a bang and not a whimper. I want him out PRIOR to the next election. Short of that. I'm not sure I'll have an office left to have a party in.

24. I had a "mourning" party when the shrub was re-selected.
We shrouded the windows, put up black balloons and streamers, and invited everybody we knew so we could all bitch and moan together over good food and drink. The night satan's minions are booted from office we will have the same people over and share the same good food and drink. And it will be sweet. SWEET!

31. Cherry Bombs
Go to my old high school and throw cherry bombs into the toilets. I always wanted to do that but I knew they'd catch me.

However, Bush has been such a scary bugger I have lost most of my fears of ordinary things.

So the cherry bombs it is. Besides what could they do to me now? I've graduated.:headbang:

35. I will go quietly to my room
and shed tears of joy, and release all the pent-up frustration.

I'll spend the day in quiet reflection, and then attempt to exercise some patience as I anticipate the collapse of * policies across the nation.

I will be on the phone and sending letters every single damned day to the new administration, advocating for quick action with regard to Iraq, NCLB, the Patriot Act, and many more * atrocities.

When the "war" is declared over, and our troops begin heading home, I will sing and dance in the streets, with the closest gathering of peacelovers I can find.

When NCLB is discredited and REPEALED, to be replaced with something actually constructive and helpful to public education, I will gather with my colleagues for a large group celebration.

For me, the big parties will happen when the policies are dismantled.
