The votes generally go
Yes:15%
No: 85%

in favor of Bush. (if you look at previous votes) Here's hoping we can get some realism in this vote.

18. When the votes are this skewed in favor of *
Edited on Mon Dec-05-05 06:23 PM by matt819
You know it's time to look at the ownership of the site. I would put money on the site being owned by the RW and that most of the links to the site come from the freepers and their ilk.

Quite apart from the tendency to believe the polls when the results on in your favor, all these online polls lead to the same question regarding no=paper voting. What makes us think that the results are accurate? Surely you can just as easily -- more easily? -- code the vote to move wherever you damn well want it to. Prove to me that the CNN polls accurately reflect the votes made.

26. I told ya!
Look at the vote total. 85%-15%.

While we are on this topic of voting/polling. Are there any good sites to check out that have reliable, more realistic polling?

Thanks,
Dap

7. Why do they want my email address?
I don't vote in polls where they ask for my email address. Spam starts multiplying in my inbox when I give it out like this. Anybody know what they do with you email addy?

13. Hillary is not against the war. I am. When she is I will start listening
to what else she has to say - until then - you need some more timeout in the corner Hill.

17. I agree!
I just checked the voting and it looks like it's back to favoring Bush.

I'm amazed how the rethugs think. They are all for Bush and feel he can and hasn't done anything wrong!??!?!!?!? I was pretty amazed when I first posted there thinking it was both a Republican and Democrat website and was lashed out as "Liberal"... wow.

23. Vote.com is a Freeper site
created so that it's founder, Toe-Sucking DICK Morris can appear on FUX network and recite "poll numbers" that favor Chimp, and make it appear that mainstream opinion is on their side. In reality, it is a (free) subscription service that has attracted followers of the Toe-Sucker, largely Republican and/or way, way to the Right.

I subsribed when the site first began; I thought it was a great concept, and got Vote.com polls in my Inbox daily. But I quickly saw how the questions were slanted, and that it was a Freeper swampland, and told them to f*ck off (canceled).

24. Does he really use the poll numbers??
Even the members on vote.com do not give creedence to the numbers. If those numbers are used for anything, it's pretty shameful.

25. Well there you go...
.... if you do a generic poll asking Americans how they feel about the war, almost all of them come out negative.

If you phrase it as a "Hillary says" question, it goes radically the other way.

I rest my case against Hillary.
