49% of his constituents said they will vote for the Democrat.
36% would re-elect Tommy Boy


That would be a kick right to the groin of the GOP and revenge for taking out Daschle.

1. Wasnt this the case before the election?

I thought polls looked bad for him last year and BugMan came through. His district wouldn't vote for a Democrat if they ran Charles Manson as the Republican, actually DeLay is worse so bad example.

2. Maybe, but...
He wasn't being prosecuted during his election last year. I an ongoing trial could make the difference.
