22. HUGE Ware fan
This man deserves his own prime time TV special simultaneously broadcast and cablecast on every channel to tell the American people what is really going on there. He tells it better than anyone else I have seen or heard. My owly concern is that by acknowledging his expertise, we are pointing him out to the Bush Hit Team. Be careful, Michael.

Here's a thought: how about we launch a campaign to nominate him for the Nobel Peace Prize!

13. Did you see Rumsfeld's new line?
The number of attacks in Iraq is not a measure of success. So we can suffer more & more insurgent attacks, yet still be successful! Isn't that reassuring? Lou Dobbs called it "Orwellian" & I have to agree. Next - losing the war means we're winning it. Rumsfeld/Cheney et al. have truly created their own deluded vision on Iraq & it doesn't look like they'll be facing reality anytime soon. I'm so glad there are journalists like Ware to explain it to the rest of us.

16. "We're an Empire now...
and when we act, we create our own reality. And while you're studying that reality – judiciously, as you will – we'll act again, creating other new realities, which you can study too, and that's how things will sort out. We're history's actors . . . and you, all of you, will be left to just study what we do." Unidentified (AOY) White House official - 2002

And when actual reality bites these idiots in the ass I hope I'm there.

17. What they don't understand is that fewer and fewer people are
buying into the reality they think they are creating.

What they don't get is that we on the other side(s) are not stupid.

We were simply stunned, and unbelieving of their general modus operandi, ie lies, spin, lies, and smears, and lies, and spin, and corruption, and criminal actions, etc.

They have basically one play in their play book, ie spin.

They think we also only have one play in our play book, cause that is how they think.

They don't get that normal, intelligent, reasoning human beings react to changes in circumstance and perception over time.

And they think they are over there in the dark recesses doing their nasty lies, smears, and spins.

But really, so many people have shined the light of truth on them from so many angles that there are very few little dark recesses for them to go try to pull their nasties in any more.

People adjust, change.

Neocons petrify, stratify, and turn to stone if they weren't made of stone to begin with.

25. Some excellent analogies.
So the Neo-cons are kind of like Trolls who will petrify in sunlight. They will cease to be participants any longer.

18. that's always been the most haunting neocon quote for me.
because I can't prove it to be incorrect. the distance between what one knows to be truth and what one sees the bullshit they're passing off as truth actually coming true is enough for all of us to re-examine reality.

24. Creepy quote
Cause they're right. How much time have liberals spent reacting to the stuff they've already done while the neocons move smoothly into acting the next plan? You could almost say people are too distracted by the past scandals to notice the future ones. What's creepiest is the arrogance & disdain for Americans in this quote. It's not a quote from a Democratic government. We're not a democracy, but an empire. We're not beholden to the people, instead the people must be manipulated & distracted while we're "creating reality." But actual reality is catching up to them, starting w/Iraq & Katrina, & you can start to see the wheels falling off the propaganda machine.

19. Yes. I saw Mr. Were
do everything but call bush a liar.
This was after bush gave his reading that the Iraqi forces were leading some battles.
He said, no, they weren't, the green berets were leading the strikes.
