Wouldn't that be something! Now if you think about it, Holy Joe has been in the news a lot lately. He rubbed lots of people the wrong way when he made a 2-day trip to Iraq, said, "everything's Great!!!" So he's been shooting his big mouth off a lot recently (of course, putting his foot in it as well).

Now, RumsFailed has been in the news a lot lately, too. But of a different kind. He's been out there, pimping his boss's war, but doing a really crappy job of it.

You can tell: people have lost confidence in the old man. Everybody is saying "Give it up. Call it quits. Throw in the towel". Besides, the old coot is multi-mega wealthy from all the looting he's done. He's almost 75: I say we should give the old failure a permanent vacation, so he can go spend his booty.

As I understand it, Richard Perle, etal. was tasked by the Likud to develop a ME defense strategy for Israel. The resulting document was used by Netanyahu and Likud in the 1996 elections. Much of it was used as the basis for the PNAC doctrine we know to be the basis of pre-emptive strike and the motive for Iraqi invasion.
