I predict Howard Dean will qualify his remarks
he will say he meant we can't win militarily, in line with what Murtha has said, and many generals off the record.

There is no way to win in Iraq by any means.

There is no scenario out there that can be defined as a "win." Unless we define "not quite an unmitigated disaster" as "winning."

Dean has generally stuck to his guns on Iraq, and I don't see any reason to believe he won't here.

4. He said we were no safer with Saddam captured...he was right.
Everyone yelled for him to take back his words. He was right then, and he is right now. We have lost more than just this war, we have lost our ability to tell the truth and to stand up for it.
