Fred Barnes: Bush is Unpopular Because He Has So Much Integrity

The right has an army of bloggers, think tanks and columnists working 24/7 to make sure that the light of reality never gets in the way of their party line. I can barely keep myself from puking on my keyboard.

You see, Bush let his guard down because he wanted to be a "non-partisan" leader in his second term, leading a "non-partisan" campaign to remake the federal courts, turn over social security to Wall Street cronies, and cut the guts out of most federal programs that help people. He wasn't going to lower himself by politicking or pandering to his narrow base...

Barnes is absolutely right. I don't recall Bush making a single political statement during the last eleven months Huh-uh, he's moved on with his life!

I don't think I've ever heard Bush's problem to be "too much integrity". Well, if we're going to use that approach, then Barnes should claim that Bush should have "less integrity".

You see, the way things are going now, Bush is risking his entire party, his base, even the Repubs because of his "Integrity". I'm sure if you were to hold a gun to Barne's head, he would agree that right now, things are not going well for the Reptile Party.

What to do? Have less integrity!!! That will fix everything for sure.

bullshit points of view. A freeper is born with this ability. In a matter of seconds a freeper can manufacture any fact that is needed on the spot to make a point. Barnes is one of the great ones.
